Behind the frames
The challenge
Hold attention on a phone screen for more than a minute with a talking-head format.
The approach
- Vertical-first framing and composition.
- Animated serif typography that highlights key ideas as they are spoken.
- Textured black frames and cutaways to reset attention every few seconds.
On mobile, every second has to give the eye something new.

I handled this video end to end, from the raw footage to the final export.
