The challenge

Tell the story of a whole church community in under six minutes: who they are, what they believe and how they reach the city, without it feeling like a list of ministries.

The approach

  • Interviews with members of different ages, cut as one continuous conversation.
  • Chapter cards in a warm yellow graphic system (Follow Jesus, Reach the World) to give the film a clear structure.
  • B-roll of services and small groups to breathe between testimonies.
Edit the voices first, then let the images follow the emotion.

My role

A multidisciplinary role: I handled this film end to end, from the raw footage to the final delivery, including story structure, chapter cards, lower thirds and the audio mix.
